Founded in 2011 by Berkeley, California native and retired Silicon Valley technology professional, Fern A. Stroud. Black Vines® hosts an annual winter celebration of culture, art, and wine education that brings together Black artists, Black musicians, and Black winemakers and vintners; a lighter fare outdoor summer soiree featuring sparkling, rosé, and sangria; and year-round custom events in partnership with key influencers and industry specialists.

Black Vines event in Oakland toasts to 13 years celebrating Black winemakers
OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The longest-standing Black wine festival in the country returns to Oakland for a 13th year with Black Vines 2024.
Black Vines returns next Saturday for the 13th year
The founder of Black Vines joins us in-studio to talk about the 13th annual wine festival coming up on February 24th. The event highlights inclusivity and accessibility within the wine industry. The bottles of wines that are on display are all available to taste in various Bay Area tasting rooms. Watch to learn more about them and the event.
